GENERAL INFO
First we must welcome you to the Math Club society. Thank you for accessing
this site. Your work will help young people wanting to learn math. Your
task is fairly simple. You’ve already taken the first step, that is,
created your profile. Now you are ready to start working.
IIn your menu, you have four options. The first is “Guidelines for
Assessment of Tasks.” There you will find information on the subjects that
of each of the three tasks club members receive. The students will fill out
a special form written in Microsoft Word 97/2000. Then, you will get
students’ solutions via email. Using the Guidelines for Assessment of
Tasks, you will check their way of reasoning and their solution to the
problem(s). Finally, you will give them a score for every problem submitted
on a scale of 1 to 5 points.
If you would like to post scores you receive, use the second option, “Enter
New Scores.” By filling out the form, you add your assessment to the leader
board. You will not know how many points students have; you will only know
their login name. This will keep students’ scores a secret and allow the
scoring to be fair.
Students may ask questions if they can’t find an answer in the FAQ file.
When new questions appear in the FAQ section, you can answer the question
using the third option, “Question Answering”. The question and answer will be
posted for future reference.
Once again, thank you for joining and good luck!
