| Elizabeth (Liz) lives in Michigan, USA and will be in the 11th grade in the 00/01 school year. She likes reading, playing the piano, and (of course) computers. In this project, she did a lot of web design with HTML and graphics, worked with Flash and cgi, and wrote some content. The thing she liked most about creating this site was actually visiting Holland, Michigan to gather information and take pictures. She took three two-day trips there. The reason Liz enjoyed this project so much was that she is a Dutch descendent, though her family did not emigrate with Van Raalte. |

Gerhard lives in the Netherlands, and will be in the 11th grade in schoolyear 2000/2001. He likes computers, playing the drums (in two bands with different styles of music), listen to music and playing hockey. For this project, he wrote much content, came up with many ideas for the games, and translated (into Dutch and English). The things he liked most about creating this site, were being creative and the research, he learned a lot about it. The reason Gerhard enjoyed this project so much was that he has family there, and family which emigrated back to the Netherlands, which he didn't knew. And that so many people wanted to help too (thanks!). |

Peter lives in the Netherlands, and will be in the 11th grade in schoolyear 2000/2001. He really likes music (playing the keyboard in two bands, and also listening), computers of course, and sporting. For this project he wrote a lot of content, and worked with JavaScript (see Interactive). The thing he liked most was the research, he learned a lot of it. The reason Peter enjoyed this project was that he didn't know anything of it first of all, and now he knows a lot more. Also because he didn't know that he has family in Michigan, and because of this project he knows. |
