     The  first big period  includes from  the  5-th  up  to  18-th  centuries.    The  literatures  of  that  centuries  which  are  the  best  spiritual  value  of  our  people  is  introduced  us  with  the  form  of  a  tree.introduced  us  with  the  form  of  a  tree. The thick  tree  is represented  on  the  biblical  phone  of  Ararat. Yes,  biblical  Ararat, the  symbol of  our  people  is  everlasting, and forever  spiritual  culture, which  is created during centuries.    The   roots  of  the  tree symbolizes Armenian  people  oral  creatures, mythological talks, stories, myths, fables, proverbs, riddles, ritual, cradle, work, military  songs. On  the  trunk  of  the  tree  sits   Mesrop  Mashtots.  Who  is  Mesrop  Mashtots? -  The  creator  of   Armenian  Alphabet,  scholar,  the  author  of  manuscripts,  the  first  interpreter  and  the  found  of  the  first  Armenian school. In  405,  Mashtots  gave  the writs and  literature  the  deathless  torch  to Armenian people, with which  lightening its way, Armenian people protected  its independence  and  with  its  centural  culture,  its national creature, rich literature,  art  reached  up today,  informing the  whole  world  its  deathlessness. The right  story of  creating  writs  is composed  in one of  Mashtots’s  pupils book- Koryun’s  ,,Vark  Mashtotsi’’. According to  Koryun,  Mashtots  was  a  person  of  exhaustible energy,  with  powerful  will  and  instruction  of  his nation and  country.   He   understood   the meaning  of Armenian’s written  cultural existence and  was in labour Armenian letters,  which  were  called  by  his  name:  Mesropyan  or   Mashtotsyan  write. From  the beginning of  the written activity,  it  is  devoted  with  two  directions: translating  and  independent.  That  symbolized  the  two  branches  of  the tree.  Many books  were  translated.
