Subject: Everyone Else But still MeMessage: Is it totally weird to dream as someone else. In many of my dreams, I take on the perspective of a third character or the main character. I have experienced dreams as a number of diiferent people both famous and ordinary. In one dream, I took on the perspective of a very skinny middle aged African American man. He was a burgler of some sort. He had agreed to rob/break into this odd high security building that looked more like a green house several stories off the ground. He/I rolled under the a closing gate and into the main room of the building. There were flowers and briars everywhere, I don't recall how the dream ended or any other figures in the dream, but I do remeber that he/I cut himself on one of the briars. In another dream, one that occured last night, I assumed the identity of Maxwell Shetfield from the Nanny. I was asking a young woman to marry me and she turned me down. I remember that he was very depressed by her response. I watch the Nanny, not religiously, but enough to follow that he an Fran got married. I reminded him through my knowledge of the shows season finale that Fran would marry him. He/We didn't seem lightened by the news. As I right this, the image of a jack in the box from the dream pops into my head. Have you any idea what that could mean. I don't believe in reincarnation, so is there anything scienctific to dreaming that way, or is it just weird? | |
