Subject: Devil's messengerMessage: The other night I had the most frightful and terrifying dream of my life. I hope that someone can shed some light on this nightmare and it's significance. My dream started normally enough and as things progressed, I found myself with my husband and kids living in the home from my teenage years. My husband and I even occupying my old bedroom. It was night time, at least we were all sleeping, and I woke up in my dream 'knowing' that something was wrong. I went to check on the kids and found everyone sleeping peacefully. As I came out of my daughter's bedroom, there was someone coming up the stairs. I knew instinctively that this person was acting on behalf of the Devil and had come for my 3 year old daughter. It was a male figure, dressed in black, with a long, greying beard. He was tall and wore a black robe and a wide brimmed hat. I couldn't see his facial features, just the beard and hat. I knew that the locks on the doors couldn't stop this evil being from entering the house and taking my daughter. He walked up the stairs and moved to her room, and I tried to fight him off, and I shouted over and over at him "The faith of the Lord is NOT upon you". But he paid no attention, and pushed on to my daugher's room. I was frantic because my actions had no effect and I knew he would take my daugher. It was at this point, I mercifully woke up from my nightmare. I was sweaty, panting with fear and anxious. This dream has caused me to feel afraid at night near the stairs and I check on the kids several times in the night. I am afraid to fall asleep lest I dream that horrible dream again. Also relevant, I have a strong Christian faith and am worried about the relevance of dreaming about the Devil. Please help.

You hold yourself in a position of protection and feel that you must have control of anything that may come into contact with her. The fact that you were unable to stop the evil from entering could be a result of your lack of control or protection in some aspect of her life. Perhaps she is about to begin school or daycare? It is not likely that this dream was predictive as to some type of evil to happen but simply of your worry. As to your Christianity, you may feel that you are missing control in her religious ways. My best advice is to pray about the dream, maybe the Lord could shed some light onto it. Good Luck!
