A good way to test whether dream can predict the future is by predicting the winner of a football competition. It is based on the system of elimination. The method of prediction is listed below.

Examples: World Cup

  1. Give each country a number and divide the countries randomly into 2 lists. Before going to bed, read the lists and think about the countries and numbers. Put one list on the left side of the bed, and the other on the right.
  2. In the morning, try to remember if your dreams suggested or contained a country name or a number. Ask, too, whether "left" or "right" were emphasized in any dream, indicating which list might contain a winning team. Make a note of your conclusion.
  3. On the next night, redistribute the countries randomly into two new lists, keeping the same number for each country. Repeat steps 1 and 2, filling your successive lists together with your notes on the dreams you have had.
  4. Repeat this process every night, progressively isolating a country by identifying which country are consistently in the chosen list. If you find that a country name or number is strongly suggested or featured in a dream, there is no need to continue with the elimination process.

See whether the country appear in the dream is the winner of World Cup or not!
