Vacarescu Ienachita

 AAA             Vacarescu Ienachita (1740-1797) - poet and theoretician of versification - was an appreciated scholar. He published in 1787 Observatii cu bagari de seama asupra regulilor si a oranduielilor gramaticii romanesti (Observation on the Romanian Grammar Rules) - that was the first work about versification illustrating versification theory. 
            He wrote occasional poetry with an erotic theme, very popular during his time (sentimentally pathetic with lyrical excesses, short verses).
            In the same manner wrote Alecu, Nicolae and Ion Vacarescu - in the volume Poezii alese (Selected Poems) (1830).
