 AAA             A significant process in the evolution of the Romanian prose is make especially by the fantastic prose of Eminescu, who inaugurated a new chapter in literature, contributing substantially to its modernization.
            Eminescu introduces the fantastic and philosophy. His prose is written under the influence of romanticism. a dynamic one, mythical, popular in Fat-Frumos din lacrima, an idealistic one in the quest for another ethic of love - free love in Cezara, an active one, rebelled, patriotic on revolutionary in Geniu pustiu.
            Social ideas go together with damming and fabulous words, the symbol of Luceafarul.
            He realizes the beginning of the modern characterization, of the deep investigation in the inner of the rebelled hero Toma Nour.
            Sarmanul Dionis is our first fantastic (I can say that is a SF) short-story, philosophical marked by a romantic vision on life - fantastic, exceptional character, escaping in time and space, the reincarnation motif, love - fundamental trait of the genius, of creation.
            There are two tendencies which are noticed in the rest of prose:
                        - the accent loyal on romantic themes, fantastic as in Avatarii faraonului Tla, or in Ioan Vestimie;
                        - the other side goes to a popular realism, in Parintele Ernolochie Chisalita - where are also comic facts;
                        - in the fragment La curtea cuconului Vasile Creanga  are outlined a few Romanian  characters from the old palace from country.
