| Unlike body shape, male and female proportions are the same. The only difference is that women are usually shorter. People are approximately eight heads tall, from the top of the head down to the tips of their toes. This applies to both men and women since male heads are usually taller than female heads, although there are exceptions. Click on the figure on the left to see the proportions. Keep in mind that there is variation among figures, some people are shorter, larger, skinnier, or taller than the average person. Observe different kinds of people to get an idea of how to draw them. | |
