Thinkquest research - what a great excuse for Carolyn to go on a coach for a holiday! Fortunately the topic we chose has most of it's knowledge collected in the original and best hard drive - the brain.  So to bring this to the web she had a great excuse to leave Tasmania  and fly to the Red Centre with her 8yo son James.

They did work hard - they had to view the lunar eclipse at the observatory, attend an outdoor astronomy dinner, visit Uluru cultural centre, Watarrka National Park and then back to Alice Springs to visit the Northern Territory Minerals House and learn more about aboriginal culture and arid wildlife at the  Desert Park. Last they stopped in Sydney to meet the rest of the TQ team and go in search of the tessalated pavement.
