While researching for this project, we came across many websites about astronomy. The internet gave us everything from NASA to UFO's. To save you the trouble having to sift through this mess, we've compiled a small collection of reputable sites which we thought were of exceptional quality.

Astronomy In Your Face

This is a fun astronomy site with astronomy software, pictures, animations, and even an astronomy glossary with some helpful definitions.
Astronomy Picture of the Day

This site is maintained by two professional astronomers. Each day they post a new astronomy picture along with an explanation.
AstroWeb

AstroWeb is a collection of astronomy related sites and resources on the internet. Their links are screened for quality.
Ask an Astronomer

This site allows you to search an archive of astronomy Q & A. If your answer is nowhere to be found, you can fill out a form and ask.
History of Astronomy

This is an overview of astronomy put together by The American Association of Amateur Astronomers. Their homepage is also found here.
NASA

This is NASA's main webpage containing thousands of resources, links, and pictures. This site has a wealth of new data.
NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory

This is NASA's secondary site. It has information on the solar system, the earth, the universe, and the technology that NASA uses.
Students for the Exploration and Development of Space

This site contains a lot of information on astronomy, rocketry, and the solar system. They also have a large image archive.
