As corny as it might sound, there are many different paths to the Golden Ratio (at least the "all roads lead to Rome" cliche was dodged). Everytime a new occurance of the Golden Ratio is discovered, a new way of finding the value of the Golden Ratio is also discovered.

     Part of what's so phenomenal about the Golden Ratio is how many principles are related to it, and how far into areas outside of mathematics it reaches.
