Andi Hi! My name’s Andrei but most people call me Para or Andi. I’m a co –creator of the web site you are visiting on the Internet (or have stored on your hard disk and are viewing it from there). I’m a student at Alexandru Lahovari National Collage in Ramnicu Valcea, Romania. I’m 13 years old. I joined Thinkquest because it seamed to be a very good idea at the time (that was before I found out it meant a lot of work). The experience I gained was worth it whatever the outcome of this endeavor will be. I usually have lots of homework, I waste away all my free time, sometimes I go biking or I play a little soccer, tennis, basketball, but most of the time I play computer games and watch TV, and of course there’s always my private English class. Fun Fact: Andi's coach is also his mother!
Mel Howdy! My name is Melissa, but most people call me Mel, Missy, Melly, Me, Misty, or whatever variation of Melissa they can come up with. Like Shuj, I'm sixteen but people always think i'm younger or older, for reasons beyond me. Anywho, the idea of doing a website about the golden ratio was mainly my idea, because, yes, sadly enough, I am a math nerd (but at least I admit it!) I guess you could call me a golden ratio buff of sorts. When I'm not doing this, I'm an extracurricular freak: Varsity Debate, Newspaper Staff, Youth and Government...I also work (lifeguard), play the guitar (badly), and occasionally update my personal page. As with Shuj and Andi, I enjoy spending obscene amounts of time soaking up radiation from my computer and television. Fun Fact: I used to eat Cheez Whiz until I realised it was Cheez, and not cheese.
Shuj Hi! My name is Shujun, but I go by Shuj. I'm one of the creators of this lovely website. I go to Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (Whew...long name), but the locals just call it TJ :-) I'm sixteen, and I did a lot of the organization work (of the website, of our team, etc...) Because I'm bossy, I also appointed myself "Official Slavedriver of Team C005449." In my spare time (spare time? What's that?), I do Model UN, Amnesty International, and I volunteer at the Smithsonian in DC, which is the most wonderful institution in the world (and I'm not biased or anything! Go! Visit! Now!) This was my very first time doing Thinkquest, and I had so much fun I'm going to do it again. Andi and Mel were wonderful teammates, and this whole experience has been a blast! Fun Fact: Shuj's first webpage was about her obsession with the Canadian hockey player, Eric Lindros.
