Your 1st Year

The night before your test is not the time to begin preparing for your test. The best policy is to read over your notes the afternoon before your test and to get a good nights sleep the night before the test.

If you've been paying attention all semester, reviewing your notes will be a simple matter of reviewing what you already know, not learning something new.

If you have no idea what the correct answer is for a question, guess. This is particularly true if the test is multiple-choice, you may not know why you think answer 3 is correct but it may be that subconsciously your brain knows the right answer and just isn't letting you know that. When you've finished your test, you back through and re-read any of the questions that you thought were impossible, your brain may decide to cooperate this time. And remember, sometimes a question is answered by another question within the test itself. Look for these hidden answers.
