|The "Occupational Outlook Handbook" is a nationally recognized
source of career information, designed to provide valuable assistance to
individuals making decisions about their future work lives. Every two years the
Bureau of Labor Statistics, an agency of the Department of Labor, updates the
handbook. The handbook describes what workers do on the job, working conditions,
the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a
wide range of occupations.
We have received permission from the Department of Labor to mirror their
extensive research here for your convenience. To find out about a specific
occupation, do a "Search by occupation." You can also search for an
occupation by keyword and salary range.
