Which test should I take? The SAT or the ACT? Who should take the SAT?
How about the ACT are
very common questions that high school counselors get all the time. Basically
they are two completely different tests and some colleges prefer one over
the other. The SAT covers math and verbal reasoning, while the ACT includes a science test in addition to the math and verbal. Many students choose to take both the SAT and ACT so that they have all their bases covered. This is a really good choice, especially if you are undecided about what college you're attending. Many mid-western colleges require the ACT while east/west coast colleges seem to prefer the SAT. Students need to check with each school to see which test they require or prefer. | |
