Transient Ischemic Attacks(TIAs) are warnings of more serious or permanent stroke coming. TIA occur when the blood supply of the brain is not enough. The area of the brain loss its function. As a result, there is a loss of function of that particular area which is controlled by the brain.

The difference between TIA and stroke is that TIA only last for a few minutes up to 24 hours. TIA is a signal that there is a local problem in the brain. It may be valve problems or poorly beating heart wall.
