We worked really hard to bring you the best in economic history. Finally, our design team came up with a great web site that will tell you virtually everything you ever need to know about the economic histories of various European powers.

Our entry will try to cover the major economic empires in all periods of time, starting from Ancient Greece and up to modern ages.

We understand that it is very hard to tell you everything there is to know about each empire, and its economic impacts. Therefore, we tried to focus on the following questions about each nation we examined:

how the country became a great economic empire

what economic effects did the empire have on its history/the rest of the world

what effect did history have on the economics of the empire

what contributed to the fall of the empire

how that country is doing today (not applicable to Ancient Greece and Rome)

Our site is going to be unique in a way it combines the nation’s history and its economics to bring you the best in economic history. You are certain to learn about the history of a certain empire as well as get introduced to various economic ideas and terms you didn’t know before. The experience will be great!

Since you will probably meet a bunch of new economic terms, we will provide tour guides to help you out. Your tour guides will be various economists, which we have selected from various backgrounds, philosophies, and eras. They will tell you their opinions as well as advise you on some economic terms, which you are unfamiliar with. The economists will not only help you learn more about economic history, you will also familiarize yourself with some ideas of greatest economic minds of the day, and be able to show off your knowledge next time you join your Quiz Bowl team J We strongly recommend that you familiarize yourself with your tour guides in “Meet Your Tour Guides” section of this web site.

But that’s only part of the fun you can have with our web site. Once you get done with taking the tour, how about testing yourself on how much you know?
