The wild horses were tamed in the Central Asian plains 4000 years ago. Since that time horses were used for riding and carriage.It`s meat is used for food.  Mongolians can`t imagine their life without horse. Since ancient time Mongolians expressed their love and respect for the horses differently. For example : There is finding of horse picture on the rocks . Mongolia is famous for its fast horses. There is a fact noticed that there were raised 1 891 300 horses in the territory of Mongolia.  Explorers say that the ancestors of horse was originated 50 million years ago. The ancestor of present horse was very  small, with a height of  80 sms. This small horse changed with the evolution and gradually got the present horses shape and features. Besides that present horses  inherited the fast jumps from their ancestors. There are 250 kinds of horses in the world. There  found a data  which tells  the horses originated 6000 years ago. But the horses originated in Central Asian territory  4000 years ago might be ancestors of whild ass and Prejevalsky horse.
