Since the time Mongolians tamed whild horses they       noticed some important features in them.One of these wonderful features is horse`s speed. There are many interesting facts about horses speed. For example:  As issued in the book  The secrecy of Mongolia, a soldier of Subeedei( a famous military chef of Chingis Khaan) could travel 150 km-s distance a day inn 1224. There found many pictures and paintings of Kidan empire where described fast horses and their  features. This fact sertifies that Mongolians have organized horse race since ancient time.But unfortunately the facts about the horse race  till 1812 haven`t kept for us. The facts we have refers  only after this data.  Since 1899  Mongolians had organized race among male horses. The fastest horse can run in avarage 80 km-s in an hour. The distance of the horse race depends on the horse`s  age. The race distance:  22-25 kms for  3-4 years old,   25-28 kms for  8 years old, 22-25 kms for  5-7 years old, 18-22 kms for 4 years old 14-18 kms for 3 years old 10-14 kms for 2 years old horses.  In avarage 100,000 horses and  25000 children annually take a part in horse races. There is an interesting fact from history :The fastest horse won 4 times in Naadam, which is main contest. Fast horses costed very expensive. In 1920 a fast horse from region called Galshar costed 80 lans (of gold) which is equal to 28 million tugrics.
