Spirit Guides/Mediums

It is a paradox of spiritualism that apports of material of material object are regarded as proof of an immaterial life after death. Mediums who produce objects ‘from nowhere’ are called ‘physical’ mediums. They also create a wide variety of other physical effects séances.

History

The belief in spiritualism started in the late 1840s. But they only believed in the most basic of physical-cum-spiritual phenomena ---paranormal things that gave sign of being intelligently controlled by someone or something that had survived death. Over the next two decades, mediums developed the ability to create an extraordinary repertoire of physical effects with the aid of spirits. Mediums themselves would often say that the spirits did all the things and that they were indeed no more than the media through which the phenomena were produced.

Conclusion

There are many reports about individual mediums who have shown very extraordinary capacities when they are under the influence of spirits: they have been immune to the effects of fire etc. Here, we have some reports on them. If their manifestations were genuine then, according to them, so is the existence of life after death.
