Evidences?
People are being hypnotized and led back to the past to recall what they can of any former lives. Then, they give oral evidence. Unfortunately, they all have fallen apart in the light of detailed research.
A Matter of Faith
If you want to ask if there is any real evidence supporting reincarnation, the answer is a resounding "No".
Some of the most apparently convincing evidence for reincarnation has come from the researches of Dr Ian Stevenson, who has travelled the world and conducted many in-dept interviews and assiduously researched and reported many cases that are suggestive of reincarnation.
One inconsistency found is that Stevenson has to rely on interpreters for reports when he travels to countries. These interpreters may believe in reincarnation. When they interpret for him, they may tell him what they think he wants to know, but not the exact truth.
The belief in reincarnation has to remain, for the time being at least, a matter of faith. This does not means that reincarnation does not occur, but it means that there is no solid evidence for it at the moment.
It is still an attractive idea. And it remains a bulwark of many ancient and respected cultures of the world.
