The Cressie is a huge, black and rounded serpent-shaped creature. It ranges from 15 to 20 feet long.
The Cressie resides in Crescent Lake in Newfoundland, Canada, an irregularly shaped inland stretch of water.
Sightings have been reported since the early 1900s.
But, no photos have been taken. Bubbles of gases from the decomposing pulpwood littering the lake might have caused the strange shape looking like a serpent. It could also be an unusually large eel which have been found to exist.
