Brief Description:
Much of the internal heat of this planet has been attributed in part to the radioactive decay of this element, which is a rich source for nuclear power. When pure it is silvery-white, and is stable enough to resist oxidation for several months. After a time, thorium tarnishes, becoming first gray, then black.
