Copper is a reddish metal, used widely in industry today. It is extremely malleable, as well as being a good conductor of heat and electricity. When oxidized, it forms a mottled green compound, often seen on the worn roofs of old buildings. It also forms a bright green color in a flame, but its solutions are usually bright blue.
