Brief Description:
Bismuth is a pink-tinted white crystaline metal. It has a high electrical resistance and its thermal conductivity is the lowest of all metals except mercury. Sources: Bismuth is usually found in nature in the forms of bismite (Bi2O3), bismuthinite (Bi2S3), and bismutite [(BiO)2CO3]. It is also a byproduct of lead, tin, silver, and other metal producing plants.
