What To Do On Your First Date
<<Read the
Guy version
So he asked you out. You said yes. Now comes the hard part.
He probably asked you out to a movie.
Being creatures with little imagination, men tend to stick to the
beaten track.
I guess a movie's fine. I mean, how bad
could it get? But don't you feel its a little... boring?
I bet you've been asked out to a movie
gazillions of times. It all seems to follow the same pattern. So-so
movie with cold popcorn and bland conversation for dessert. Why not
try something a little more... interesting?
The Road Less Traveled
Tell him, "Why don't we go to the
driving range?:" Even if he protests that he doesn't even know
the difference between a five iron and a caddy, insist. He was the one
who asked you out anyway.
Alternatively, you could go ice skating, cycling, something you enjoy.
It's just a date. Have fun!
If you want to play it safe, there's
nothing wrong with a movie. Just make sure that it's something you'll
both enjoy. Return of the Nightmare Zombies 3 might bore you to
death while something emotional like The Bridges Of Madison County
might drive him to sleep. The key is to find a middle ground,
something you'll both find pleasant.
Another thing, it's a good idea to find
out who's paying. He'll probably treat you, but just in case, do bring
along perhaps a hundred bucks to be safe.
