A Gal's Guide To Asking Someone Out

<<Read the Guy version

There's this cute guy you're interested in. You've done everything you possibly could to attract attention! You've tried pouting your lips, crossing your legs, doing up your hair... nothing seems to work.

The thing is... unlike with men, it's against tradition for a lady to ask someone out. Why? Who knows.

A girl who dares to ask someone out usually ends up being labeled cheap. The trick lies in getting him to ask you out. There are many ways to do this, but in my opinion, the easiest way is to flatter him.

Guys love attention. They're a proud, vain self-conscious lot, constantly looking for the nearest mirror or reflective panel to admire their egoistic self.

Step #1

Imitate his movements. When he yawns, yawn as well. When he crosses or uncrosses his legs, do the same. Laugh at his jokes, no matter how distasteful they might be.

Step #2

Rearrange your hair in front of him. guys love this. For more oomph, get him to arrange your hair with a hairpin or something. He definitely won't know how to do it properly, but getting your hair done nicely is besides the point. They feel really flattered when you do this.

Step #3

Brush your arm against his body and then say, "Sorry." Works most times. Before leaving, ask for his phone number.

The perfect ending would result in him asking you out. But alas, most men are complete nincompoops  when it comes to interpreting body language, so you may have no other choice but to ask him out yourself, as explained in the next chapter.
