The Waiting Game
After she gives you her phone number, how long do you wait before you call her? If she seemed interested in you, wait 5 days (this is to keep her guessing and thinking about you). If she did not seem too interested in you, wait 2 days. Unless of course she specifically asked you to call her that same evening. That definitely means she's interested. Although some may dispute this technique, the concept behind it is pretty simple actually. You want to make her think about you. You also don't want to seem overly desperate to court her. This implies that you are suave, cool, and comfortable with women.
Should you decide to ask her out, be specific about the date.
Example: "Let's have dinner at Ponderosa Thursday night at 7 p.m. and
afterwards we can go have a drink at The Club. Is that OK with you?"
Caution
Obviously, this wait-and-see technique has it's drawbacks. This is especially true if you know that someone else is trying to ask her out. In that situation, calling her quickly would definitely be the best option. Decide for yourself which method you prefer and are more comfortable with.
