| It is famous for its astronomical observatory and its sacred wells, to which one would go to sacrifice in order to please his Gods. Likewise, they threw, to the depths of the wells, valuable objects, weaved items, precious metals, etc., that have been discovered by excavations carried out. To those wells pilgrims from other cities arrived to offer to the gods flowers, jade and gold. The architecture found in this city is beautiful and their builders employed columns in form of snakes with feathers. In some temples is found also various ball courts (Taxtli). These courts were used to play a sport such as basketball, except that instead of baskets they used some vertical rings in the wall of stone, and balls of rubber. It was played with the hips, elbows and knees, and the team that lost was sacrificed.
