What is Microbiology? The study of microbes

Microbe-an organism too small to be seen with out a microscope

Groups studied in Microbiology

1.)    Bacteria, Viruses, Algae*, Fungi*, Protozoan *Not all are microscopic. Example: Shelf Fungi

2.) Helminths-parasitic worms 

Parasites-live on and harm organisms 

Arthropods-tics, insects, spiders 

Vectors-carriers of diseases.
