What Does The Golden Rule of Diffusion Mean?

Quick Recap!!  The Golden Rule of diffusion states that when particles diffuse, the movement

is always from a region of higher particle concentration level to a region lower

particle concentration level until the particles are evenly distributed.

 "So what does this mean?"

This law basically means that all particles will move out of their 'home' and into

regions where that particular type of particle does not exist.

The diagram below illustrates how diffusion takes place. The particles on the

left move from a region where they are highly concentrated to a region where

only a few of them exist (region of low concentration).
