Books
Atom by Isaac Asimov. This book is an excellent read on the
atom and on subatomic particles.
The Feynman Lectures on Physics by Feynman, Leighton, and
Sands. Reading this three volume series of lectures given by
Richard Feynman to undergraduate students at CalTech is a wonderful
way to learn physics.
The Physical World Half on chemistry, half
on physics, this book gives explanations of many different areas of
physics. A very large amount of pictures makes the read a visual
experience.
The Physicists by Daniel J. Kelves. A very thorough, very
interesting history on physics in America.
QED by Richard P. Feynman. An excellent series of lectures
that make quantum mechanics understandable.
