1 4in. x 4in magazine cover
1 straw
1 pin
A pair of scissors
Fold the paper in half, then in half again. Unfold.
Cut the folds about two inches towards the center with the scissors. Do not cut all the way through!
Moving in a clockwise direction, take the corner of the first triangle and bring it to the center. Hold it there with your finger. Do this for the other three triangles.
Put the pin through the center of the windmill. Now insert the pin through the tip of the straw.
Take your windmill outside to a windy area. Notice how it spins? This spinning action would be connected to a generator, and electricity could be generated. This is how a windmill works.
