1 yard of insulated wire

Wrap the insulated wire loosely around the pole magnet.
Scroll to top Step Two
Attach the ends of the wire to the voltage meter.
Scroll to top Step Three
Slide the magnet back and forth in the coil of wire.
Scroll to top Step Four
Notice the voltage meter: it moves one way when the magnet is removed and the opposite way when the magnet is put back in. This is the generation of A/C electricity.
