The Magical Greens
The forest was our first alien world with green plants proliferating into endless varieties and wildlife lurking at the darkest corners. We, the humans beings, had evolved weak except for our sharp weapons, and defenseless except for our foul smell. We needed an open view to see the wonderful forest inhabitants in their peaceful and undisturbed natural environment. As we migrated out of the forest into the plateaus and grasslands, the forests began to loom dark at the edge of our eyes, always alien and dangerous, but always inviting us in with infinite questions about what we might find there since humans are who we are. In forests lurk ruthless killers but kind befrienders as well, lethal poisons but antidotes as well, paths leading to the secrets of the mysterious forests and the acts of wonderful creations by the unknown forces of the forests.
The magic of the forest has linked all the organisms together like a interconnected web, including the long-forgotten forest people. However, the destructive mankind from the "outer world" invades the forest, cutting the strands that form the web and chasing these forest dwellers out of their homes. If we do nothing to stop our harmful sins, the magic of the forests will one day be gone forever, and the forest web will be reduced to a messy mass of strands that can never to sort out. Till then, Gaia will have to step out to restore the forest web and get rid of the roots of this evil act, the human clan, in hope of the return of the mysterious magic of the forests.
