The natural resources such as the forest are being depleted at a very quickly, causing a great impact on the natural environment. Many species of organisms are being wiped out, upsetting the original eco-systems.
Due to the large amount of damages that Man has done to the environment, the climatic conditions and phenomenon will change drastically. Natural disasters and natural phenomenon, such as cyclones, El Nino, floods, etc will occur more frequently.
When Man has caused too much destruction to the Earth, the Earth will not be able to take it anymore. Therefore, Man will have to seek for a new homeland elsewhere on other planets in the universe or galaxy.
In this case, Man will realise that he had committed too many sins, and learnt that it is wrong to over-develop the Earth. Man will try his best to protect the remaining natural environment and make amends for his mistakes by reforestation, etc.
If the damage done is too great, Gaia will perish with Man, and this shall be the end of the world, the end of the human era.
