Future Challenges

Scientists and researchers are faced with the challenges of developing diagnostic tools to assist in the early diagnosis of the disease and ecological investigation of Ebola and the disease it causes. Another challenge is to monitor the suspected regions to determine the incidence of the disease. More extensive knowledge of the natural reservoir of Ebola virus and how the virus is transmitted must be acquired to prevent future outbreaks effectively.

But will Man be able to discover the cure in time to stop the next major outbreak that might wipe out a significant proportion of human beings, so as to prove to Gaia that he has the abilities to be the Ruler of Earth and that human is the most powerful organism in the whole universe? Or will Man face the consequences of being extinct due to his destructive schemes that have eradicated all the sources of the antidote? Right now, Man ought to reflect on his own destructive ambitions and decide whether it is worthwhile to take the risk to establish a kingdom under him.
