Push Me Pull You Lab

This lab has to do with Newton’s Third Law of Motion because of the action and reaction law (the student pulling the rope was the action and the student being pulled was the reaction).  This lab also has to do with Newton’s Second Law of Motion because the acceleration of a body is inversely proportional to its mass.  In other words, Even though the action force and the reaction force were equal, the two students might have moved slightly different distances due to the fact that they have different masses.  The larger the mass of an object, the greater the force that is needed to push the object a certain distance.
