The City of Avrig
It is situated in the Sibiu county, in the west of the Fagaras Depression
The population in 1995 counted 15,618 people and it was certified in old papers in the year 1346
It is a starting point toward the Poiana Neamtului chalet and further toward the
Barcaciu chalet(1550m)
From here the Bruckenthal Palace (built in the XVIIth century) can be visited.
