 The Sambata de Jos
    This village is known for its stud farm ("cai lipitari" farm) and for the castle built in the 18th century by Bruckenthal, the governor of Transilvania.
    It is a starting point towards The Sambata Monastery (built in the XVIIth century) and The Tourism Complex Sambata, from where a forest road, then a pathway leads for about 3-4 hours to the Valea Sambetei chalet (1401m)
