The City of Fagaras
The Fagaras Fortress as we see it today was built in the year 1538 and,
observing its architecture, there can be noticed a Renaissance influence
in its style.
In the last centuries the city has spread around the fortification, keeping it as a historical
monument; today it is a well known tourist attraction.

Stepping inside there are many exhibits of the old customs of the romanian people and
all its folklore and religion, as well as old items like
weapons,
chests or
religious icons.
