INTJs’ lives are full of ideas and strategic planning. They strive to do be intelligent, competitive and full of knowledge and expect others to do the same. An INTJ’s Introverted Institution preference causes him/her focus on observing and generating new ideas and possibilities. They constantly take in information and makes relations with them. INTJ’s can easily understand a concept, but they are more interested in applying the concept in a useful way. They are driven to make conclusions.

INTJs are systematic, organized and observant which make them good scientists. They are gifted at explaining a concept in a useful form that is easy for others to understand and to follow. INTJs have difficulties expressing their insights, images, etc, because their thoughts and concepts are highly opinionated. However, they have learnt explain his/her idea by changing it into an understandable system or plan.

INTJs are natural leaders, although they will not take the leading role unless they see the need to do so. They are effective leaders because they can see the real situation and can change things that are not working well by comparing other ideas and concepts against the currently used strategy.

INTJs are do not naturally understand other people’s feeling, which makes it difficult for them to be very close to others. Also, they have problems in observing the details of something.

INTJ are very interested in making decisions, judgements, and arranging their experiences in order. INTJs are likely to have problems in explaining their thoughts. They easily become very sure of their judgments, but when they express them to others, they are often misunderstood. If this happens, INTJs will often blame the other party for misunderstanding them, instead of blaming their problems in expressing themselves. In the end, INTJs will quickly refuse to accept other people’s ideas and become arrogant.

INTJs are ambitious, organized and careful thinkers. They will most likely end up working in areas related to engineering or science, or they might be contented with using their strategic planning in the business world. Having things made clear, neat and efficient is very important to them. They spend a lot of time blending their insights into structured patterns.

Others may think that INTJs are strong-willed, reserved and unaffectionate. This probably isn’t the case. It is just that they do not see the need to express their affections and regards for others, and they naturally do not give as much praise as others do. INTJs are not as rigid as others see them. They always strive to find the best strategy to accomplish a task. They are actually quite open to hear other alternatives of doing it.

If an INTJ is under a lot of stress, they will get obsessed to mindless activities, such as over-drinking. Also would get absorbed to details that they would not normally see as important to their goals.

INTJs need to learn to express themselves more, and to develop their ability of communicating. This would prevent them from misunderstandings and from being isolated.

INTJs are gifted in their abilities in accomplishing great things, such as the ability to see the big picture, the ability to synthesize concepts into action and their reasoning skills enable them to do accomplish that. They are competitive and they can probably accomplish their education and career goals. If they can learn to forbear and to effectively express their thoughts to others, INTJs are equipped to lead a rich and rewarding life.
