ISFPs are warm-hearted and gentle people, who seek life-long relationships. They tend to keep their true feelings hidden, which may cause a lot of problems if their partners are not very aware of their feelings. They will become bitter, and they will probably give up on their relationships or they might use it for their own gain. However, for ISFPs who constantly express their feelings to their close ones, those problems probably do not exist. These ISFPs are positive on life and love, and they usually will not try to take advantage of them. As a partner, the ISFP is very loving, loyal and supportive. They dislike conflict, and to ISFPs, it is very important that people understand them for who they are.

ISFPs as Lovers

ISFPs have a depth of emotions and caring, which isn’t obvious to people who do not know them well enough. Close relationships are extremely important to ISFPs. With Introverted Feeling controlling their personality, they are unprotected and often being hurt. Because of this, they tend to hold back their feelings, which will become a serious problem on the long run. ISFPs need encouragement to feel happy about themselves. The greatest gift their partners can give is the expression of their love and admiration for them.

ISFPs as Parents

ISFPs form bonds with their children when they are still young. They will not have defined expectations of their children and they will respect their personal growth. ISFPs love to have fun, and each ISFP has a little kid inside themselves. Since they are naturally kind, it is difficult for an ISFP to punish their children. He/she depends on the other parent to encourage structure and to administer discipline when necessary. Sometimes ISFPs think their children have taken them for granted, and becomes very hurt. To prevent this, ISFPs need to communicate more with others and speak out their needs. ISFP parents are dedicated and self-sacrificing to their children until their children leaves home. If ISFPs have not allowed themselves to become victims, they will be very good parents and will be remembered by their children.

ISFPs as Friends

ISFPs can get along with almost anyone, except perhaps those who are strongly Judging. They respect everyone’s differences, and don’t like to be judged. They value space and freedom, and appreciate others respect for that. ISFPs spend time with people who share their interest, and people who understand and accept them. On the other hand, they tend to be reserved with people they do not know. Generally, ISFPs are kind and generous to who they care about, and can be a real friend.
