INTPs are usually quiet, and are more interested in new ideas that small talks, but can become quite talkative about a topic they have recently studied.
INTPs long to understand everything and may be difficult to focus on one major. Their ideal job is one that allows them the freedom to use their special abilities. INTPs are frequently found in pure sciences, mathematics, research, engineering, college teaching, computer analysis, or any field involving theory, such as philosophy or psychology.
Being intensely curious is their style of learning. INTPs are global and abstract learners who can understand theories and underlying principles quickly, and enjoy mastering them. INTPs may find it impossible to study without quiet for concentration. Sometimes, they can get so absorbed in reading or research that they forget about the time.
An INTPs extracurricular activities probably include lectures, drama, and music. INTPs may be frustrating to roommates who need casual conversation or appreciation. Because they are so curious about things, work is play.
