INTJs believe in the need to have constant growth in their relationships, and they are constantly working to improve the quality of their lives and their relationships. They take their commitments seriously, but are open to redefine them if it is necessary. INTJs are unlikely to be over supportive or sensitive to their close one’s feelings. However, INTJs are extremely intelligent and always tries to do their best. If the same is applied to their personal relationships, they will still enjoy happy and healthy relationships.
INTJs as Lovers
In terms of relationships, INTJs’ greatest potential pitfall is their difficulty in believing that their relationships are not as prefect as they think. They are not naturally in tune with their mates’ feelings and to support their mates more in conflicts, instead of always thinking that they are right. Sexually, they like to think about intimacy more than doing it, which may be a problem to their relationships wit their mates. However, INTJs are likely to be in positive, healthy relationships, because they're likely to leave relationships that aren't working for them.
INTJs as Parents
As parents, INTJs’ aim is to bring the children up as independent and wise individuals. They will probably give their children a lot of room to grow, to think for themselves and to make their own decisions.
As INTJs do not naturally express their encouragement and love, they have difficulties see their children’s need in this area. This will create a barrier between the INTJ and the child. To solve this problem, INTJs need to be more aware of their children’s emotional needs.
INTJs as Friends
INTJs are not easy to get close to. But for those who are close to them, they treasure INTJs for their ideas and knowledge. INTJs can be serious at times, but they can also be pulled to have fun, and are good at telling jokes.
INTJs don’t spend time with people who have nothing to offer them. They enjoy being with Intuitive Feelers, who love to theorize ideas, and can relate well to INTJs, who love to analyze ideas.
