INTJs have original ideas. Although INTJ types do not occur frequently in the general population, they appear in greater numbers in college and graduate school. INTJs like competition and will work hard to achieve their goals. Most INTJs prefer careers with independence and little or no routine.
INTJs learn by challenging authority and popular beliefs. INTJs can learn better when they can relate what they learn with some larger purpose. In general, INTJs are task-oriented and high achievers who enjoy the challenge of new problems. Most INTJs can write quickly. They spend a lot of time studying, and they can study best when they are alone.
INTJs enjoy lectures, drama, and music in their free time. Usually INTJs would prefer a neat roommate who is serious about academics. Even when they are playing, they tend to set high performance standards.
