INFJs are warm, affirming, caring people who invests a lot in close relationships, and seek for ones that are healthy, intense, meaningful, perfect, and life-long. Because they always want the perfect relationship, they may fall in the habit of moving from relationship to relationship, and fail in finding it at the end. In general, INFJs put a lot of effort in bringing the best out of their close relationships.

INFJs as Lovers

INFJs are loving and considerate partners. They like to express their love, and want affirmation from their mates in return. As the INFJ seeks the perfect relationship, the INTJ’s mate may feel that he/she is put upon by the INFJs demanding perfectionism. However, it actually indicates a sincere commitment to the relationship, and an exceptional depth of caring.

INFJs as Parents

An INFJ parent’s goal is to guide their children to become constantly growing and independent individuals who know the difference between right and wrong. They let their children to think for themselves and to have a voice in the family. INFJ parents are comparatively demanding parents - they have high expectations for their children’s behavior. INFJs are warm and caring parents. They can be stubborn and sharp-tongued at times, but are generally soft-spoken and gentle. INFJs taking parenting seriously. It is important to INFJs to pass their values to their children. An INFJ parent will make sacrifices for their children without hesitation. Their children will remember them as warm, patient and inspirational.

INFJs as Friends

An INFJ’s ideal friend is one that is dependable, is close to them and can see and appreciate the INFJ for who they are and what they stand for. INFJ is likely to spend a lot of time with family members and a certain amount of time with members of their religious community, if they are religious. Next are people of different personality types. INFJs have the least interest in people who they consider dishonest. Although the INFJ might not realize it, but many people are drawn to the INFJ and he/she is probably quite popular. The INFJ is valued by their close friends for their warmth and consideration, their new and interesting ways of looking at things, and for their ability to inspire and motivate others to be the best that they can be.
