Choose one writing topic.

1. Write and illustrate a picture book about King Arthur which is suitable for children in our Junior School.

2. "Historical films can be informative and entertaining." Do you agree? Argue your case in relation to one of the King Arthur films.

3. Chose another time of trouble in any historical period of your choice, in the past or present. Invent a character like King Arthur and show how he/she intervened to make things better for the people involved.

4. Legends about King Arthur were widely circulated in England during the 12th century. During the 21st century the legend still has enduring appeal. Why is this so? What does this reveal about human beings and their hopes and aspirations over time?
