Man (Homo erectus) lived in caves filled with limestone
They already knew how to use fire; the bones were broken into pieces for burning. Tools were made out of rocks by chopping and shaping plant materials such as bamboo, vines and wood. Food eaten: Hackberry fruits and other edible plant products. |

Man appeared
They were mainly surviving on grain and limited to foods which are soft and tender, like fats, sugars, starches and proteins or seeds fruits, young tender leaves, roots, shoots and animals. |

Agriculture in China
The first agriculture began in southeastern Europe. For China, nobody was sure when agriculture started, but it definitely started in the northern part, in the loose lands and other neighboring areas. It was scattered around the Wei River Valley in Shenxi and the area enclosed by the curve of the Yellow River. Food of Early China:
